Hiya! So Glad You're Here.
I'm Annie Duron or Duvs (pronounced with a double o, or a spanish u), a 90's baby that never knows what to write in the about section; feels weird to describe myself so I'm just gonna translate the self-portrait I wrote a few years ago for a creative writing class.
Tall enough to see out the window and proudly blinded by all the books I have read.
With eyes like any other, yet I flaunt them like dazzling hazelnuts as I wear the sunset on my head.
Broken nose, squeaky knees, and back, make a few scars –and sometimes rattles– from adventures spent outdoors, while breathing pollution with a bit of fresh air.
I keep the technology on the palm of my hand and a couple of times in my ears, reaffirming the pride of the new generations; although, to be exact, I belong to the last-century relics.
One or two audacious characters risk calling me a filmmaker, some crazy ones describe me as a writer but those are titles I have yet to earn; better described as sarcastic, grumpy, daring, proud, passionate, or simply: the pink dot.
Words used by various people at different times to try to pigeonhole everything I am.
Although, I will always be much more than what you see.
I cling to the ineffable and the serendipitous.
British-hearted, German-speaking Mexican; proud descendant of the world with roots in more than one place.
A naturally loyal egomaniacal who struggles between love and hate while wandering carelessly through life –aware of those who have walked before me with a certain goal– never stopping as I wait for destiny's bill without ever erasing the sly smile from my lips.
