Don’t worry about me

So I tell you, love, goodbye, for now. Goodbye for good. Goodbye for the things you’ve done (that only broke my heart). I’d say, “I love you, stay with me”, I’d rather have you miles away (wondering), than beside me and hurting. My feelings are mine and only I can fix them. Thank you for fighting, and winning the war (between heart and mind). Don’t worry, love, I’ll build my walls and prevent them from falling again. You may leave (for good or bad), you may go, leaving me behind. I can say I changed for you, I may say I changed for good. Love, please go. Don’t extend my suffering, no more. I try to hide, but even the safest place leads back to you. Love, please go. Don’t be afraid to leave me behind. I promise I’ll rise, even if I have to take some time to take in whatever surrounds me now. I’ll crawl. I’ll walk until I run, (don’t worry, leave me behind). I will catch up. If we are meant to be, we can run through life. I will stop if you stop. I will stand if you fall (only if I find you again). Don’t worry about me, don’t worry about now. We both have wars to fight (and they’re no fair fights). You go your way, I will find mine. So don’t worry about me. Don’t worry for now. We’ll find our way if we’re meant to be. Goodbye, my love. Goodbye for good. Goodbye for the things you did that helped me grow (a little more).
